About The Slyde – Live at the Rivoli

A swansong of sorts, Toronto prog rockers The Slyde captured their live album + concert film during their 10th Anniversary tour at the end of 2019 and now unleash it upon the masses. The band performs their favourite tracks from across the entirety of their career, with selected cuts from their most recent studio album, “Awakening.”

This concert captured the band at its peak: coming off of a 200 career show-milestone, their win at the Wacken Metal Battle Canada national competition, placing 12th of 30 at the international final at Wacken Open Air in Germany, and wrapping up the year with their 10th Anniversary show while preparing pre-production for a new studio album.

The 52-minute Live at The Rivoli album includes 10 tracks from 2019 Rivoli performance, and is scheduled for digital release on all major streaming platforms (Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, etc.), while the 77-minute concert film – featuring 5 additional songs not included in the audio release – will be available exclusively via pre-orders through The Slyde Bandcamp page along with copious bonus content: hi-res artwork, a movie poster, a letter and audio greeting from bandleader Nathan da Silva, and more!
