Intro

In 2013, Global Morning Show reporter-turned host Liem Vu approached us about creating a web presence for him to promote his journalistic endeavours and showcase his fun and engaging personality. Flash-forward to 2018, and it was time for a refresh.

The Website

Back in 2013, Liem was one of the first recipients of our Modulus framework, using v.0.2 to build out a basic multi-page site with About and Contact pages, as well as a basic homepage showcasing his latest work, and an ongoing video archive. For the 2018 upgrade, we carried over Liem’s hexagon motif and redid the colour palette in royal/periwinkle blues, expanding his branding into a hollow hexagon shape that we could iterate across backgrounds, highlight graphics, and beneath his “logo” namemark itself.

Liem’s website also received our basic CV/Resume system to showcase his ongoing journalistic achievements, as well as our video popup system to allow him to easily embed video players from YouTube or Vimeo to offer up a selection of his latest work for viewing.
