Those of you in the media, I’m sure, are quite aware of the necessity and pleasure derived from a good stiff drink some days after a long day on the job – those of you who know me personally know that mine is usually some concoction of Jack Daniels.

Well luck smiled upon me this week, as Wednesday night was the 160th Anniversary of Jack Daniels, and myself and fellow sleuth David set off for The Drake Hotel (part of West Queen West) to rub shoulders with the media elite and chat with Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Jeff Arnett about what makes JD so phenomenal and how best to consume it.

Not gonna lie, all you can drink Jack Daniels coupled with copious quantities of food garnished in Jack sauces was pretty much the closest I’m gonna get to heavenly fine dining in my books for a while. :D
