Today Apple Inc. dropped a few more bombs on the tech/music world – and ironically enough… I was so busy, I didn’t even know there was a keynote speech today. o_o

The scenario of my discovering it went down something like this:

INT: 6:30 PM EST – THE BATCAVE (CHINATOWN, TORONTO)
Roommate @lawlita bursts through the door

Lawlita: “OMG DID YOU SEE ALL THE SHIT GOING DOWN WITH APPLE!?!?!”

Me: “Apple… wha?”

Lawlita “Dude where have you been?”

Me: “Working….. ?” o_O

Lawlita: “Wait…. did you get the DQ Blizzard email I forwarded to you?

Me: “OOOHHH that I saw! :D”

There’s a new iPod Touch, a new iPod Nano (now minus video), and a new iPod Shuffle that no longer looks like a stick of Trident. Suffice to say with the launch of iTunes 10 (apparently… it lives… [in the basement, under my bed, inside each and every one of us…. :/ ]), Apple intends on taking on social networking – and finally laying MySpace to rest in its ever-waiting impatient grave. Alongside this, the relaunch of AppleTV looks to take the tech giant’s “hobby” project back off the bench and into the starting lineup.

You could check out all the new stuff over at Apple.com, but G4 talked with TechCrunch’s MG Siegler about the announcement. I’d say for 6 minutes of watching they pretty much cover the whole gamut; well worth your time. :)
