After returning to their small Northern Ontario hometown for their 20-year high school reunion, all Emily and her friends wanted was a quiet weekend excursion in the woods ahead of the big event: a nostalgic adventure reliving their youth – if even just for a moment.
Unfortunately, it’s a little hard to have fun when your hometown hasn’t changed, all your old friends want to do is bicker… and – ya know – when there’s something sinister hunting you in the woods at night. Something with a plan.
Emily and her friends will soon come to learn that the town they grew up in has harboured dark secrets since its founding: secrets that should’ve stayed buried. But when your hometown’s main industry is mining, hidden things don’t stay buried forever.
