The Indie Machine got really busy for live music showcases in November 2012 – with sole-promotion shows aside from the also-present co-promotions with bands/labels/fellow bookers.

We returned to The Silver Dollar twice during November – the first for the Extracts album release for electro-garage-rock duo OPOPO, which simply used their album artwork and font in a restructured manner.

The second poster was for a remix EP release show for our friends in Broken Bricks that I kept super-minimalist in bright red and black and played with line structures.

Poster three was for a show that fell into place last-minute, and then ultimately had to be canceled due to issues with the venue.

The fourth featured a stylized Space Invaders reference for a night of electro-rock/synth-rock.

The back half of the month was equally busy. Our second show of the month at The Silver Dollar ended up being the Masuda brothers bill we tried to construct in early September featuring Champion Lover, Summerbees, and LIPP, as well as one of our new favourite finds Crhymes.

The yellow Kill Bill-inspired number was originally supposed to be a three-band bill, but ultimately turned into a five-band bill with The Dangerbees rolling over from the canceled gig a few weeks earlier and Another City popping on last-minute.

We had a three-band funk night, with the poster using that TRON font along with a series of blue-toned triangles on a cream background which I really liked. The final bill of the month was booked well in advance (as well the poster was also constructed weeks ago) as an Indiana Jones inspired piece with a stylized dot map of the world, compass rose, and familiar adventurous font/colour scheme.
