I tend to design the majority of the posters for the live events side of The Indie Machine, though strangely enough I never seem to post any of them up here. Rather than post them all en-mass going forward, what with us running anywhere between 1-5 showcases a month, I’m going to start dropping them in on a month-to-month basis as a recurring consolidating post of all the recent poster designs.

The poster above features acts from The Indie Machine’s Jaunary showcase at Rancho Relaxo – our Silver Dollar showcase poster this month was handled externally so I won’t be posting that one here.

David and I tend to butt heads as far as design matters are concerned for iM, so when he described his “simplistic aesthetic tastes” I think I’ve finally got it down with this one – featuring a subtle colour palette and bubble motif. We’ll see how his reactions pan out moving forward.
