So I regrew the beard completely this month….more on that in a second….but first…

CHECK OUT THE NEW SKINNING!!!!! I think the opacity looks neat, and the white border makes things look tidier (still trying to work out the kinks in object spacing, as the differences between IE and Firefox are stupid – mainly because Microsoft doesn’t conform to universal standards [I suppose because they think they’re above standards]) I’m also in the process of working out the top flash banner as a navigation system, and I’m working on a new Tridia logo, so those should be posted here sometime soon.

Dave and I, along with a bunch of our friends won the 2nd annual Carleton University Journalism Dodgeball Tournament. So that was the big news of last weekend……that and Watchmen!!!!!

:)

What the heck was up with that non-diegetic music though? In some places, that was just awkward as hell……like 99 Luftballoons…….There is clearly a time and a place for that song…….this was neither.

My social life aside, I also added a new video to the independent section, entitled “PR Wars”. It was a book-ending video for a fourth-year Journalism presentation on the interconnected relationship between Journalism and Public Relations and a comparison between the two. I think it turned out really well, and as a result I was forced to give myself a long-overdue crash course in Adobe After Effects.

Click over to that section to read more about it. Trust me, you won’t regret it for a second…

****You can see me sporting the beard in the video as the receptionist****

Also, we just finished editing our documentary on The Love Machine on Friday afternoon, so expect to hear more about this in the coming days as the screening will be taking place at the beginning of April.

Dave and I have still yet to get any work done on the Rockalily Burlesque documentary, though with TLM now out of the way I think I’ll be able to take care of it soon….that, and TLM concert video……

Hope everyone is doing well

PS. YouTube killed the audio on “Truth Behind the Coke Side of Life” because of copyright or some such nonsense……I guess that recutting will have to take place sooner rather than later….
